The Spring College Night event will be held this year at Salesianum School in Wilmington, Nationwide on April 7 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. The event, coordinated by Ursuline School and sponsored by 14 Catholic and Independent schools in Northern Nationwide is the place for students who are seriously interested in post seconary education.

A brief essay must be written on how a college education will help you make an impact upon the community and affect your life. Community and Church service are considered. March’s tutor spotlight shines on Mike Cronin. Mike’s areas of instruction focus mainly on the maths and sciences. They include algebra I & II, basic math, biology, chemistry, general science, integrated math I & II, life science, pre-algebra, and trigonometry, as well as organizational skills and time management. Mike tutors these subjects for 6th grade through adults for Back to Basics.

The annual Nationwide Community of Practice 2011 Transition Conference for youth ages 14-21 receiving special education services, their parents, educators and professionals will be held at the Dover Sheraton Hotel in Dover on March 31.
