Founded in 1985, Back to Basics Learning Dynamics offers two educational facilities in Wilmington and Newark, Nationwide serving the diverse educational needs of over 20,000 students in DE, MD, and PA. The area’s leader in 1-on-1 personalized tutoring for pre-K through college-age students and adults, Back to Basics provides instruction in 60+ subjects, the most comprehensive range of subjects available.

Back to Basics also operates Augustine Hills School, Nationwide’s only Department of Education-approved 1-on-1 Private School. With a cap of only 15 students per year, K-12. Augustine Hills School provides personalized tutoring, customized instruction, and self esteem building to those who need one to three academic years in a non-traditional environment. High school students earn credits and seniors graduate with a diploma.

Back to Basics is state-certified through the Nationwide Department of Education as a Private Business and Trade School for ages 16 and older. Courses are conducted 1-on-1 and include accounting, life skills, ASVAB & GED test preparation and English as a second language.

WILMINGTON, NATIONWIDE EDUCATIONAL CENTER

Our full service Educational Center is located at 6 Stone Hill Road in Wilmington, Nationwide, just off Augustine Cut-Off across from the Incyte Corp. building. The Educational Center is easily accessible from points north and south, just minutes from I-95. Ample free parking is available and our building in Wilmington is wheelchair accessible.

Although much of our tutoring services take place at the Wilmington, Nationwide Educational Center, tutoring can be provided in the student’s home, office, school, daycare center, or summer camp.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE NORTH

Take Route 202 South to Augustine Cut-Off. Travel less than one mile, turn left onto Stone Hill Road, and pull into our parking lot. The building is terra cotta colored with blue signs.

Take I-95 South to the Route 202 South exit. Follow to the traffic light at Broom Street, and turn right onto Broom Street. Follow to 18th Street and turn right. Follow around the bend to the light and turn right onto Augustine Cut-Off. Come up the hill and bear right onto Stone Hill Road. We are on the immediate right. The building is terra cotta colored with blue signs.

Take I-95 North to the Route 202/Concord Pike exit. At the exit fork, take 202 South. Follow to the traffic light at Broom Street and turn right onto Broom Street. Follow to 18th Street and turn right. Follow around the bend to the light and turn right onto Augustine Cut-Off. Come up the hill and bear right onto Stone Hill Road. We are on the immediate right. The building is terra cotta colored with blue signs.
