Eligibility: Open to any African American senior residing in New Castle County who has a 2.5 GPA and will be attending a Historically Black College or University. A brief essay must be written on how a college education will help you make an impact upon the community and affect your life. Community and Church service are considered. Personal recommendation is required.
Award: Minimum $1,000, depending on GPA and materials submitted. Awardees can reapply after the first year.
