Nationwide College ScholarshipsEnnes Educational Foundation Trust Youth Scholarship

Deadline: July 1, 2017

Eligibility: Graduating high school seniors who aspire to a career in the technical aspects of broadcasting. Scholarship may be used for tuition, room and board or textbook costs at postsecondary educational institutions or for technical training programs approved by the scholarship committee.

Award: $1,000 to $1,500.

National Law Enforcement and Firefighters Children’s Foundation (NLEAFCF) Scholarships

Deadline: July 1, 2017

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be a child of a law enforcement agent/officer or firefighter who lost his/her life or was permanently disabled in the line of duty (eligibility details available online).
  • Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree, certificate or diploma at any accredited college, university or technical institution in the United States.
  • Must be registered as a full-time student during the entire academic year and maintain a 2.7 out of a 4.0 GPA, or the equivalent.
  • Must reside and attend school in the United States. Awards are based on financial need as well as scholastic and other achievements such as demonstration of leadership, a commitment to volunteer activities benefiting the community, outstanding performance in the arts and/or sports.

Award: Up to $5000 per year. Number of awards each year depends upon size of the endowment and number of applicants. May be eligible for renewal if a 2.7 average GPA and full-time enrollment is maintained each year and student shows satisfactory progress towards the completion of his or her degree.
