Sally Rusk is in our tutor spotlight for November. She is DE certified in elementary education. Sally’s subject matter includes basic math, communication, environmental science, general science, grammar, journalism, language arts, phonics, pre-alebra, readiness, reading, Reading Assist, video production and writing.
Having dual careers in teaching and video production allows Sally to do something very interesting. She sometimes works as an On-Set teacher. This means she provides education to child actors on movie sets who can not attend their regular schools due to filming schedules.
When she’s not working, Sally’s favorite place to be is with family and/or on a sailboat. She has been racing sailboats competitively since her teens and is a member of the New Castle Sailing Club.
Sally and her husband, John, have lived in Wilmington all their lives except for a short stint in Los Angeles. They have 2 grown children, Kimberly and Matthew. Thank you for being part of our team, Sally.
