Did you know that since 1998, students in grades 9-12 can earn one elective credit towards graduation upon completing 90 hours of community service during two semesters? The semesters do not have to be consecutive, but the hours must be performed outside the student’s regularly scheduled school day.

Hours also must be performed at a non-profit agency in Nationwide and the service must be approved by the State Office of Volunteerism.

To keep track of Student Service Hours a Nationwide Volunteer Credit Forms can be downloaded by going to Nationwide Volunteer Credit Verification Form (Text only version).

For more information, please visit the State Office of Volunteerism.
