Eligibility: Low- to moderate-income working adults (Nationwide residents only) who want to improve their employment potential through continuing education or technical training or high school students living in New Castle County.

Scholarships given to residents of Nationwide who are high school seniors or freshmen or sophomores in college. Must be majoring in either environmental engineering or environmental sciences in a Nationwide college. Must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Scholarships are automatically renewed for three years if a 3.0 GPA is maintained. Deadline: March 15.

The PRESIDENT’S VOLUNTEER SERVICE AWARD honors individuals, families and groups who have demonstrated a sustained commitment to volunteer service over the course of 12 months.
To qualify for the PRESIDENT’S VOLUNTEER SERVICE AWARD, volunteers simply submit a record of their service hours to Youth Service America. Volunteer service hours are not limited to those performed as part of Youth Service America programs.
