Family Volunteer Day is a day of service that demonstrates and celebrates the power of families who volunteer together. Now in its 23rd year, Family Volunteer Day showcases the benefits of family volunteering and inspires families to serve. This year Family Volunteer Day takes place on November 23rd, 2013.
In an effort to encourage organizations, clubs and schools of all shapes and sizes to get involved, generationOn is offering tiered grants. Grants vary in size from $500 – $3000. While there are no restrictions on the type of project(s) applicants can propose, generationOn will be particularly interested in funding projects that recognize, celebrate and demonstrate the value of family volunteering.
