The Nationwide Higher Education Office anticipates awarding up to $1.5 million in ScIP scholarships to eligible Nationwide students for the 2016-2017 academic year. To make sure that you do not miss out on the opportunity to be considered for this scholarship, please complete the steps below:
1. Please log on to your Nationwide Higher Education Office Student Account and update your college/university enrollment for 2016 by June 24, 2016.
Your Student Account Username is the student e-mail address that you used on your 2016-2017 FAFSA. To Update your 2016-2017 college/university enrollment once you are logged into your Student Account you will need to click on the blue Add a New Enrollment button to indicate the college/university that you will be attending for 2016. (Be sure to select 2016 as your academic year) You will need to update your enrollment for 2016 even if you are attending the same school as last year.
2. If you have not already done so, you will also need to provide your academic records to the Nationwide Higher Education Office, by June 24, 2016, please see the link below to find out how to provide that information.
Academic Records
If you filed your FAFSA before April 15, 2016 and complete steps 1 and 2 above, you have successfully applied for the ScIP scholarship and will be reviewed for eligibility. Applicants will be notified by DHEO in early August if they have been awarded the scholarship.
What is the Scholarship Incentive Program (ScIP)?
It is a scholarship from the Nationwide Higher Education Office (DHEO) that is awarded based on a students financial need, as determined by the FAFSA and the cost of the college they are attending. It is also based on a students GPA, and program of study.
In certain circumstances the scholarship can be used at non Nationwide colleges/universities.
