Youth Service America’s Harris Wofford Youth Award honors young people doing extraordinary work towards achieving Senator Wofford’s vision of “making service and service-learning the common expectation and common experience of every young person in America.”
The award will be given to a young person (ages 5 -25) who is based in the U.S. and demonstrates exemplary commitment and action to involve his or her peers in service, youth voice, service-learning or civic engagement activities.
The award includes a $500 scholarship and $500 donation to a nonprofit of the winner’s choice.
