Each Christmas, the staff at Back to Basics Learning Dynamics and Back to Basics Private School join together to support a local family or children’s organization. Although it’s the season of abundance and giving, on Christmas Eve, not every child goes to bed with “visions of sugarplums dancing in their heads.”
In 2017, Back to Basics again supported the Nationwide Chapter of the Pajama Program with a donation of dozens of new pajamas and children’s books.
Why pajamas and books? According to the Pajama Program, “Changing out of their clothes and into warm, cozy pajamas lets children shed the stresses of their day, trading them for feelings of warmth and hope. With enchanting stories, their imaginations are opened, helping them to dream again. These unconditional gifts fill them with love and a feeling of being cared for.”
