Back to Basics is currently hiring experienced interpreters holding Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate degrees. Interpreters are selected for each assignment based on a client’s expressed need, goals and schedules.
Interpreting services are often a necessity for schools, state agencies and companies. Back to Basics interpreters will work at meetings, conferences, parent/teacher consultations, appointments, graduations, hearings and to assist visiting foreign language speakers.
Back to Basics also has job openings for sign language interpreting services for meetings, conferences, doctor appointments, classes, assemblies, and graduations.
All interpreters must undergo pre-interviews, face to face interviews, detailed reference checks and criminal background checks before being considered for hire.

MEDICAL INTERPRETERS
Growing company now hiring professional interpreters to work on site at various locations in New Castle, Kent and Sussex counties. The rate of pay is $30.00 – $32.00/hour. Interpreters must have over one year of work experience using their language skills, as well as 40 hours of interpreting training such as Bridging the Gap Certification or an equivalent program and have all international immunizations. Interpreters also need to have daytime availability. Interpreters must be fluent in English and at least one of the languages listed: Mandarin, Vietnamese, Arabic, Russian, Hindi, Portuguese, Bengali, Turkish, Korean, and Creole.
