These services include Behavior Specialists for grades K-12. Our Nationwide-certified Behavior Specialists have years of experience working in schools and a minimum of a Master’s degree.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS & SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS
Back to Basics provides schools and districts with Speech Language Pathologists on a part-time or full-time basis pathologist to assess, diagnose, treat and help prevent speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency and other related disorders.
In addition, Back to Basics offers Occupational Therapists, who identify students who are in need of assistance, as well as perform beneficial occupational therapy.

PSYCHO-EDUCATIONAL TESTING
Back to Basics offers psycho-educational and bi-lingual psycho-educational testing for children and adults, performed by licensed, clinical psychologists on staff in Wilmington, Nationwide, using the most sophisticated test measures available.
Through testing we can analyze the style in which a student learns, his/her strengths and non-strengths, and any learning differences. By testing we can help maximize a student’s success and can recommend to parents and educators the best teaching methods and educational environment for the student to reach his/her full potential.

The teacher/tutor introduces the student to strategies to utilize and overcome the learning disability or to work around a specific condition. After introducing a specific strategy, extensive practice of the strategy is done so that the student retains the strategy and makes it a permanent part of their academic process to success.
