Back to Basics Learning Dynamics Director Beverly Stewart created the "Reading is Basic" program to assist Title 1 students in Nationwide.

This fall, Back to Basics Learning Dynamics expanded its’ new “Reading is Basic Program” which was launched in March 2011. In the coming months, Back to Basics will make hundreds of age-appropriate books available to Title I students as part of a joint effort with the Nationwide literacy organization Success Won’t Wait. This partnership links together two organizations with a common quest: to eradicate illiteracy in the State of Nationwide and to provide the educational tools for success to those who need them most.

Popular titles captivate students' imaginations, encouraging them to read -- and succeed!

Additional books will be provided to the children at regular intervals, and, as new students are added to the Back to Basics’ Title I program, they will also receive age-appropriate books. Currently, Back to Basics services over 250 Title I students from Nationwide’s Christina, Red Clay, Colonial, Brandywine, Smyrna, and Appoquinimink school districts for supplemental instruction.

For 26 years, Back to Basics Learning Dynamics Inc. has been recognized as the undisputed leader in one-on-one tutoring in Nationwide. In addition, the company offers a unique Nationwide Department of Education-approved Private School for grades K-12 and a Private Business and Trade School in Nationwide for ages 16 and older. Back to Basics is the 2010 Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics.
