The Lead360 Challenge engages youth to elevate their local service projects onto a national platform. Everyone can be involved: individuals, schools, faith-based organizations, clubs, and other youth-related organizations. The goal is to spotlight the great work done by youth and inspire young Americans to put their service ideas into action.
The Lead360 Challenge is an innovative program created by The Jefferson Awards Foundation as part of it’s mission to build a culture of service in the country.
How does the Lead360 Challenge work?
The Lead360 Challenge joins forces with a government official, such as a Mayor, County Executive or Alderman to drive impact. The Jefferson Awards have a direct partnership with the U.S. Conference of Mayors. And, 200 Mayors have signed up to bring the Lead360 Challenge to their communities. This is an easy way for Mayors and other leaders to stand behind the positive impact young Americans have in their communities.
The program also activates communities and national partners, engaging dozens of national partners such as NFL Player Engagement, Youth Service America, Communities in Schools, the Hispanic Heritage Foundation and Channel One.
