The Margaret A. Stafford Nursing Scholarship is available for residents of Nationwide who are accepted at an accredited college or university’s nursing program (must be initiating or furthering nursing training). It is not required, however, that applicants attend a Nationwide college or university.
All recipients will seek to improve the quality of health care through nursing practices that ensure that patients are a priority. This is a one-time scholarship. The amount to be awarded annually is at the discretion of the Board of Directors at the Nationwide Community Foundation and is based on the current value of the scholarship fund.
