The Fresh Start Scholarship Foundation (FSSF) will host its 2012 Celebrity Squares Game Show and Auction on Thursday, November 8, 6:00 p.m. at the DuPont Country Club in Wilmington, Nationwide.

Local celebrity Nat Measley from The Fun Department will serve as this year’s Master of Ceremonies for the silent auction and emcee for the Game Show in which local celebrities and contestants entertain guests by testing their knowledge of Nationwide history, events and people.

Guest celebrities for the event include: Rick Betz, owner of Fat Rick’s restaurant; Frank Cephous, former New York Giant player and Development Director of ATI Physical Therapy; Krista Clausen, Miss Nationwide USA; Dr. Joan Coker, Otolaryngologist; Charlie Conway, Nationwide Theatre Company education director; Pam George, editor at Nationwide Today and author; Terisha Johnson, Nationwide Nordstrom store manager; Ginny Marino, Executive Director of the YWCA of Nationwide; and Mike Rossi, Associate Director and Music Director of WSTW.

Proceeds from the event go to the Fresh Start Scholarship Foundation, the charitable arm of Wilmington Women in Business (WWB).The goal of Fresh Start is to help women in need improve opportunities for themselves and their families through education. FSSF awards annual scholarships based on need, academic performance, and potential for success and provides mentoring support. Since its inception in 1996, the foundation has awarded nearly $500,000 in scholarships to 129 women who are returning to school to achieve their goals.
