Want to combat drunk driving AND win a $1000 college scholarship? Here's how!MICHAEL P. In keeping with the focus of the firm, this year’s topic is “Ideas and solutions to reduce drunk driving car accidents.”

Drunk driving is a serious issue, and especially so for young students. According to the National Institute for Traffic Safety Administration, “every day, almost 29 people in the United States die in alcohol-impaired vehicle crashes—that’s one person every 50 minutes.”

Have some great ideas on how to stop this problem? Here’s how to apply:

Submit an original essay of approximately 250 words or video essay on the topic. The scholarship application deadline is July 1, 2018.  And, the winner will be announced by August 1, 2018 on the firm’s blog and on social media.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • open to all high school seniors and undergraduate students,
  • prior recipients NOT eligible,
  • must be in word format (.doc or .docx),
  • essays must be emailed to scholarship@flemingattorneys.com, and
  • you must include your full name, address, phone number and name of your school.

Essays will be judged based on clarity of content, originality and grammar. ONLY the winning applicants will be notified. So, please make sure to check flemingattorneys.com/undergraduate-scholarship.
