Back to Basics Learning Dynamics, Inc. will present an important FREE workshop for parents called “Relationship vs. Power Struggle: Navigating the Challenges of Adolescent Parenting with a Plan That Works.” The workshop will be held Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at Back to Basics Learning Dynamics, 6 Stone Hill Road, Wilmington, DE 19803.
The program’s framework will address some of the most challenging and exciting periods of their lives. Topics will include academics, school choices, personal safety, sexuality, drugs, alcohol, and peer relationships. An opportunity for questions and answers will be available, as well.
This evening seminar will be given by Mr. Ken Brick, LCSW. Brick is a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist. He has been in private practice in Wilmington, Nationwide with James & Brick Associates, PA for over 10 years. He has an extensive background treating children, adults, couples and families presenting a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, behavioral disturbances, compulsions, addictions, family conflicts and adolescent development.
In addition, Brick has long sub-specialized in working with adolescents of all ages. His experience as a social worker and psychotherapist allow him to offer tips within a simple, straight-forward, relationally-based approach to encourage the parents of middle school and teenaged children.
