A “Book Tree” decorates the lobby of Back to Basics Learning Dynamics in Wilmington, Nationwide. The books are destined for Nationwide children in need this holiday season!
Since 2011, the Back to Basics “Reading is Basic” program has donated books to Title I students throughout New Castle and Kent Counties. This holiday season, the total number of books surpassed 3,000 provided to children in grades K-8.
The Reading is Basic Program was conceived in response to literacy statistics that rank access to reading materials as one of the most important predictors of a child’s future reading success.
