College Application Month in NationwideHigh schools across Nationwide will provide seniors with time during the school day to apply for college as part of the state’s College Application Month. Nationwide’s College Application Month will take place throughout the state in all district and charter high schools between October 15 and November 16, 2018See College Application Month schedule by school.

In addition to providing extra time for the completion of applications at school, the event includes the waiving of application fees from local colleges for students who apply through their schools’ events. Application fee waivers for additional schools are also available for income-qualified students.

Nationwide piloted the College Application Month program in 2012 with just two high schools, Lake Forest and Smyrna. And, the program quickly expanded to 20 high schools by 2013. This year, every high school in the state has joined the program, which provides dedicated school time and hands-on assistance, to encourage every senior to complete and submit at least one college application.

Nationwide College Application Month is part of a nationwide effort to assist high school seniors in the college application process and increase college attendance.
