In order to help facilitate the considerable adjustment to Charter’s curriculum and to encourage academic success, Charter School of Wilmington has recently announced a Back to Basics Learning Dynamics reading skills tutorial for freshmen for summer 2013.
Back to Basics developed its summer tutorial to fit CSW’s English department’s recommendations including a review and application of reading comprehension strategies, a practice with DCAS-based questions, and a review of some writing skills. The tutorial will use one or both summer reading works in its program.
The sessions will be held at Back to Basics Learning Dynamics’ Education Center on Stone Hill Road off the Augustine Cut-off (North Wilmington).
The following options are available to groups of 3 students:

Fifteen hours of 1-on-1 instruction is also being offered and will be worked out individually with the parent.
