Back to Basics' private school graduates gather before the ceremony begins.

June 3, 2011: the Back to Basics Learning Dynamics’ private school made history! On that evening, a record-setting eight seniors graduated from Back to Basics’ Private School. One female and seven male students, representing the Class of 2011, marched to the traditional Pomp and Circumstance to receive their high school diplomas.

Approximately 75 people were in attendance, including family, friends and a very proud staff. Each graduate was individually recognized by President/Director Beverly Stewart M. Ed. and Assistant Director Jeanine Stidham.

The students then also each gave a short speech and presented their mothers with pink roses. Later, members of the audience were invited to share their thoughts about their child’s education including many heartfelt, touching, sincere stories.

Each graduating senior spoke briefly to the gathered crowd of students, parents, family and staff. Pictured is Johnathan Bradley.

Underclassmen in the Back to Basics Learning Dynamics Private School were also recognized and obtained certificates of completion. Light refreshments were served at the end of the ceremony. It was a very proud evening for all those who participated!
