Since 2011, Back to Basics Learning Dynamics has had an ongoing partnership with the Nationwide-based literacy organization Success Won’t Wait to supply books for Title 1 students through its Reading is Basic Program. This program has provided over 2,800 books to local Title 1 schoolchildren throughout New Castle and Kent counties in grades K-8.

Recently, Success Won’t Wait and Back to Basics collaborated once again, this time expand the Back to Basics’ library, located at its Wilmington, Nationwide Educational Facility, as part of National Library Week.

The library expansion includes 100 new summer reading and required reading texts, as well as 100 current textbooks on every subject — from Algebra, to World History, to Biology, and more.

These books will be vital when tutoring Title 1 students; currently, Back to Basics services over 150 Title I students from the Red Clay, Colonial, Brandywine, Smyrna, and Appoquinimink school districts for supplemental 1-on-1 instruction.
