Since 1988, The Philadelphia 100 has been the hallmark of entrepreneurial achievement. The project, which is run by the Wharton Small Business Development Center, The Entrepreneurs’ Forum of Greater Philadelphia, and the Philadelphia Business Journal, identifies and honors the 100 fastest growing, privately held entrepreneurial companies in the Greater Philadelphia Area. Since it’s founding, The Philadelphia 100 has recognized some of the region’s finest companies as they were just beginning to emerge, including: Mothers’ Work, Fiberlink, Urban Outfitters, Forman Mills, Kremer Laser Eye Center, and Primavera Systems.
The Philadelphia 100 is a merit based program. The integrity of the process and the resulting list makes The Philadelphia 100 one of the most sought awards in the area.
