A $1,500 Biden Breast Health Initiative scholarship is awarded to a high school graduate in each county in Nationwide who will be pursuing further education after high school and a career in either the health or education fields.
ELIGIBILITY:
- Graduating senior of a Nationwide School
- Nationwide resident
- Pursuing a career at an accredited post-secondary institution in health care or education.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 300 word essay on the topic: “Why have you chosen a career in health care or education, and why do you feel it is important to encourage others to adopt a healthy lifestyle?”
AWARD: Amount at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee at the DCF
