Mandela Day is an annual, global call to action for citizens of the world to take up the challenge and follow in the footsteps of Nelson Mandela, a man who transformed his life, served his country, and freed his people.
And, this July 18 marks 100 years since the birth of Mandela. The Centenary is an occasion to reflect on his life and legacy, and to follow his call to “make of the world a better place.”
Mandela followed three rules throughout his life: Free yourself. Free others. Serve every day.
